Things you will need: spool of ribbon, strong and durable thread, needle, ruler, scissors, and pearls.

Step 1: Take 6 inches of ribbon to create accordion folds.

Step 2: Pinch the gathered ribbon together and stitch the center securely. Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 to create six folded ribbon pieces to serve as the main centerpiece of the necklace.

Step 4: Creating the two end pieces: Make two more folded ribbon piece with one end that is longer. Be sure that the extended ribbon is long enough to tie around the neck.

Step 5: Thread your needle.
Step 6: Start with one end piece (the extended ribbon) and begin stringing on the folded ribbons and pearls. You can alternate between the different pieces for a desired look. This is where you get creative and make a necklace that is unique of your own. Finish the necklace by stringing the last end piece and knotting it securely.
